Div Com honors Lambardar Naresh Digra for heroic role in "Operation Sindoor 2025"

JAMMU, Feb 11: The Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar, IAS today officially presented a Letter of Appreciation to Lambardar Naresh Digra for his outstanding contributions and selfless service during the challenging period of Operation Sindoor 2025.
Operation Sindoor, launched in May 2025 following the tragic Pahalgam incidents, saw a period of heightened cross-border tensions and localized disruptions. During this critical time, Naresh Digra emerged as a vital bridge between the civil administration and the local community. His proactive role in maintaining communal harmony, assisting displaced families, and coordinating relief efforts in affected border areas was instrumental in ensuring public safety and stability.
During the felicitation, the Commissioner lauded Digra's bravery, and said that he played a pivotal role in the success of this critical operation. Through his tireless efforts in mobilizing community support, coordinating logistics, and ensuring the welfare of all, he has exemplified true spirit of selfless service and leadership. He said, his actions not only strengthened the village's resilience but also inspired everyone around him, setting a benchmark for exemplary public service. He is grateful for Digra's unwavering commitment and the positive impact he have made on society.
Lamberdar Naresh Digra expressed his gratitude for the recognition, reaffirming his commitment to the service of the nation and the people of Jammu.
