| ‘Attam Sakishtkar Divas’ of Bapuji celebrated at Bhagwati Nagar ashram | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER JAMMU | SEPT 24'
Attam Sakishtkar Divas’ of Param Pujya Sant Shri Asa Ram Ji Bapu was celebrated with gaiety and religious fervour at Bhagwati Nagar ashram here today. Thousands of devotees thronged the ashram early in the morning to pay their obeisance to their Sadguru besides taking part in havan pujan and satsang. Havan pujan was started at 9 a.m. in which thousands of followers of Bapuji participated. At 12 p.m. the satsang was began in the ashram and prayed for tranquility, non-violence, peace and prosperity for the nation. On the occasion of ‘Attam Sakishtkar Divas’ of Param Pujya Sant Shri Asa Ram Ji Bapu, the similar satsang was also held in various parts of the country as well as abroad. On the auspicious day, it may recall that at 2.30 p.m. pujya Asumal Ji (childhood name of Bapuji) had ‘Attam Darshan’ of God after braving tough and un-relented ‘tapasya’. The devotees burning crackers, dancing, singing devotional songs and raising slogans ‘Bapuji Ki Jai Ho’, Sadguru Bhagwan Ki Jai Ho. The followers of Bapuji sing devotional Bhajans which included ‘Guraun De Dawaray Asaian Nachna, Parayian vich Ghungroo-pa-ke’ and Hari Om, Hari Om Gayai Jaa… On the occasion, the children of Balsanskar Kendra, Bhagwati Nagar ashram presented colourful devotional items included Shiv Tandav, Krishan Leela and Maa Bhagwati. The Yog Vidant Sewa Samiti also arranged a bhandara for the devotees in the ashram. |
