| Khajuria takes stock of JMC works | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, May 26- Chairing a meeting of the of the JMC here today, BJP State President & MLA from Jammu East constituency Ashok Khajuria took stock of the various works undertaken by the JMC in the Jammu old city and their progress.. He was briefed in detail about the condition of the lanes, drains and places of public conveniences located at different places in the city. The JMC officials also told the MLA about various projects being undertaken by the agencies other than the JMC for the development of the city.
Khajuria asked the JMC officials to deploy additional safai karamcharis to clean the drains and nallahs before the commencement of the rainy season so that the people do not have to face health problems in the coming days.
He also asked the Electrical wing officials of the JMC to fix halogen lights at main chowks and also fix streets lights where ever required.
The meeting, which lasted for one and half hour, was also attended by Kavinder Gupta, Mayor JMC, Commissioner Mubarak Singh, Joint Commissioner Vimal Tiku, Executive Engineers M.K. Razdan, R.P Modi and Vijay Gupta, Corporators Rajesh Gupta and Sat Pal Grover.
