RS PURA, Feb 13: An inspiring and insightful lecture titled "How to choose and achieve the Goal" was organized by the NSS Unit of GDC RS Pura as a part of 10 days Winter Camp on a theme "Serve the Community Serve the Nation" under the patronage of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Preetpal Kour. The guest speakers of the event were Mr. Jasbinder Singh, Director of Genesis Institute and his team members. The lecture aimed to guide aspiring students in defining their life goals and building a clear roadmap to success. The session took place with special emphasis on preparing for Civil Services at both the Central and State levels. With prestigious examinations such as the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination and various State Public Service Commission exams, the competition level is intense and preparation requires strategic planning, clarity of purpose, and sustained motivation. This lecture aimed to demystify the journey and provide practical, actionable guidance.
The session covered important areas like Identifying personal strengths and setting meaningful goals, Understanding the structure and requirements of Central and State Civil Services examinations, Strategic planning and time management for competitive exam preparation, Building consistency, resilience, and overcoming common challenges faced by aspirants.
Speaking on the theme of civil services preparation, the Principal stated that proper guidance and determination are the keys to success and appreciated the initiative taken by the Genesis institute to guide students towards the competitive examinations. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 100 students who expressed that the session provided clarity, motivation, and a structured approach toward achieving their civil services goals. |
