During the rescue operation, a portion of the ride collapsed, leading to fatal injuries. Despite the occurrence taking place on a Sunday, teams across multiple offices immediately mobilized to assess eligible coverage and initiate the necessary formalities. It was confirmed that under an existing tie-up arrangement with Haryana Police, eligible personnel were covered for an insurance amount of ?40 lakhs. Demonstrating seamless coordination and institutional agility, SBI swiftly activated internal processes across its offices and SBI Life Insurance to ensure an expedited settlement. Within just four working days of the incident, the insurance claim was processed and approved, and ?40 lakhs was credited to the nominee's account without delay. SBI officials subsequently visited the bereaved family in person to offer heartfelt condolences and reaffirm the Bank's steadfast support. The seamless coordination involving branches and offices across three states, reflects SBI's vast network and its enduring commitment to delivering responsive, compassionate service, especially in moments of profound distress.
