| DB dismisses Anganwari worker’s appeal | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, May 26- In an appeal filed by Dwarka Devi challenging the appointment of Sandeepika Balwal as Anganwari worker, the Division Bench of J&K High Court Jammu Wing comprising Chief Justice Barin Ghosh and Justice Muzaffar Hussain Attar today dismissed the appeal with the observation that the rules provide that people residing in the village are entitled to be selected.
After hearing Advocate CM Koul for the appellant and Advocate Ajay Singh Kotwal appearing for private respondent, the DB pointed out that there is no dispute that private respondent is a resident of village Seeri. Being the situation, there is no scope of interference, the appeal fails and the same is dismissed. JNF
