ADGP Armed J&K reviews preparations for All India Police Kabaddi Cluster 2025-26

JAMMU, Feb 13: Anand Jain, IPS, ADGP J&K Armed, accompanied by Sh. Sameer Sharma, IPS, DIG Armed, and Sh. Vinod Kumar, IPS, DIG IRP Range Jammu, visited the newly constructed Battalion Headquarters at Pargalta, Bajalta, to review the ongoing preparations for the upcoming All India Police Kabaddi Cluster 2025-26.The senior officers were received by Sh. R.C. Kotwal, Commandant, 1st Women Battalion, along with Sh. Subash Chander (DySP), Ms. Anita Katel (DySP), Ms. Reena Bhau (DySP), XEN PHC and other officers/ officials of the battalion. During the visit, a comprehensive inspection of the infrastructure and facilities was carried out to assess the arrangements being made for the accommodation of participating players and officials. Special emphasis was laid on accommodation, security, logistics, sanitation and medical facilities to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the prestigious national-level sporting event.
The ADGP Armed J&K expressed satisfaction over the progress achieved so far and issued necessary directions to DIGs, CO 1st Women Bn, XEN PHC and other officers of PHC to speed up the arrangements by the end of this month in all aspects. The ADGP Armed J&K stressed upon importance of maintaining high standards of discipline, hospitality, and coordination to ensure the successful hosting of the event.
