Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 16: Govt. Sri Pratap Memorial Rajput College of Commerce, Jammu, in collaboration with the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), J&K, under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, commenced a five-day Bootcamp on "Blockchain Technology" at the college campus today. The inaugural session was held at 11:00 AM in the Smart Classroom and witnessed participation from faculty members and a large number of students eager to explore emerging digital technologies. The programme began with a welcome address by Prof. Binny Kumar, who introduced the theme of the bootcamp and highlighted the need for up-skilling in frontier areas such as blockchain, smart contracts, and decentralized applications. Mementos were presented as a mark of respect and academic collaboration. The chief guest Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Sunil Gupta, addressed the gathering and emphasized that such initiatives bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations. |
