Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 16: Under the visionary leadership of Prof. Sanjeev Jain, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, Central University of Jammu, an interactive session on the theme "Spirituality as a Tool for Good Mental Health among Youth" was organised by the Department of Social Work, Central University of Jammu. The session was conducted by Ms. Yukta Tomar, Doctoral Scholar, Department of Social Work, Central University of Himachal Pradesh. In her insightful address, she elaborated on spirituality as a vital source of inner peace, self-awareness, and positive thinking. She emphasized that spirituality is not limited to religious practices but is a broader concept that nurtures emotional resilience and mental well-being. Ms. Tomar highlighted how practices such as meditation, gratitude, prayer, and self-reflection can significantly help young individuals manage stress and cope with emotional challenges encountered in their day-to-day lives. She encouraged students to incorporate these practices into their daily routines to enhance focus, clarity, and emotional balance. The session witnessed active participation from students, who engaged enthusiastically in discussions and interactive activities.
