UDHAMPUR, Feb 16: The Indian Army conducted a structured youth outreach programme at a Higher Secondary School in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir, as part of its ongoing commitment to youth engagement and nation-building. The programme aimed to motivate students and strengthen civil-military ties through constructive interaction. A motivational lecture on joining the Indian Army was delivered, emphasizing core values such as service, discipline and leadership, while also highlighting the diverse career opportunities within the Armed Forces. To further foster camaraderie and mutual respect, an exhibition volleyball match was held between students and soldiers, promoting teamwork and healthy interaction beyond academics. The event concluded with informal interactions, allowing for mentorship, open dialogue and guidance for the youth.
