SAMBA, Feb 16: Continuing its drive against drug smugglers & peddlers, Samba Police has arrested a lady drug peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur and recovered approximately 6.40 grams heroin-like substance (chitta) alongwith one weighing machine from her possession.
A Police team of Police Station Vijaypur during naka checking at Rakh Barotain road near AIIMS residence complex Vijaypur, intercepted a pedestrian who was moving under suspicious circumstances. During frisking, approximately 6.40 grams of heroin-like substance (chitta) and one weighing machine were recovered from her possession. The lady drug peddler identified as Soma Bibi W/o Jamat Ali R/o Rakh Barotian tehsil Vijaypur district Samba has been arrested and the contraband item has also been seized.
A case FIR No 27/2026 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Vijaypur and investigation started. |
