VIGYAN MANTHAN 2026 - A grand celebration of innovation and creativity

JAMMU, Feb 16: May Fair Schools successfully organised its Annual Vigyan Manthan 2026 - Science, Mathematics, Hindi, Social Science & Waste Material Models Exhibition on 16th February 2026 at May Fair International School, Laxmipuram Chinore, Brantalab, Jammu Premises. The exhibition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and esteemed guests. More than 150 Students participated in the exhibition from both the branches with 100+ Models.
The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries:
Sh. Ashwani Pandita, Deputy Secretary, (JKBOSE), Sh. Rameshwar Singh Manhas, President, JKPSCC, Dr. Hair Dutt Shishu Working President JKPSCC, Sh. Munish Gupta, Chief Editor, Early Times, Jammu, Sh. Vikram Sharma, SHO Janipur, Smt. Rekha Manhas, Ex-Corporate, Sh. Harvinder Singh Chairperson- Rainbow Public School while Sh. Abhey Basur Director/Principal May Fair Schools , Smt. Radhika Basur Trustee May Fair Schools , Dr. Neha Gupta Incharge May Fair International School, Smt. Pooja Manhas Incharge May Fair Hr. Sec. School remain present from the Management Committee Side.
Their gracious presence and encouraging words motivated the students and appreciated the school's efforts in promoting scientific temperament and creativity.
The exhibition provided a dynamic platform for students to present innovative and informative models, encouraging practical learning and critical thinking.
First Prize - Rs 600 Cash Prize were given to
1. Smart Agricultural Farming (Class 9th) - Adhyan Bushan, Aarav, Tanshika, Trisha Chinore Branch.
2. Carbon Purification (Class 7th) - Sehar, Karmank, Arnav Chinore Branch.
3. Disaster Management (Class 8th) - Bupinder, Pranjal, Bhakti, Apurva C/Nagar Branch.
Second Prize - Rs 500 Cash Prize were given to 1. Hydraulic Robotic Arm (Class 9th) - Danish, Sonu, Parvinder, Arun Chinore Branch.
2. Smart Traffic Control System for Ambulance (Class 8th) - Shiv, Misbah, Danish, Rubbal Chand Nagar Branch.
3. Air Purifier (Class 8th) - Jasvinder, Arman, Rehan, Manthan Chinore Branch.
Third Prize - Rs 400 Cash Prize were given to
1. Radar System (Class 9th) - Chetaniya, Himanshveer, Hardik Chinore Branch.
2. Industrial Waste Management (Class 9th) - Kiran, Philomena, Sonakshi, Ashpreet. Chand Nagar Branch
3. Jammu Smart City (Class 9th)- Angel, Deepika, Tejaswi, Ridhima Chinore Branch.
8 Consolation Prizes of Rs 200/- Each were given to
1. Hydraulic Lift Project (Class 9th) - Madhu, Angel, Pawana, Janvi Chand Nagar Branch
2. Windmill (Class 4th) - Ritvik, Divyansh Chinore Branch
3. Election System (Class 11th) - Asim, Inzaman, Honey, Fazzan Chinore Branch.
4. Volcano Eruption (Class 6th) - Anahita, Sunakshi, Pratham Piyush, Aarav Chinore Branch.
5. Digital Dustbin (Class 8th) - Ayushi Singh, Tanushka Chinore Branch.
6. Pythagoras Theorem Model (Class 8th) - Namya, Siddhi, Romanshi Chinore Branch. 7. Education System (Class 11th) Vanshika Mehra, Sarthak,Yashika, Vansh & Deepak Chinore Branch. 8. Gas Factory (Class 12th) Mehak Ruba & Abhinav Manhas Chinore Branch.
All winners were awarded cash prizes in recognition of their remarkable efforts.
Smt. Nisha Gupta , Smt. Ruchika Gandotra Sr. Wing Coordinators from Chinore, C/Nagar Branch & Smt. Nirmala Raina Jr. Wing Coordinator were the Overall Incharge for the exhibition. The teachers guided the students wholeheartedly making the Vigyan Manthan a grand success.
The exhibition beautifully reflected the institution's commitment to nurturing innovation, creativity and experiential learning among students.
