| Govt committed to provide amenities to people | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, May 27 Minister for Finance, Law and Parliamentary affairs Abdul Rahim Rather has said that the famous tourist resorts of Pakharpora and Yousmarg would be developed in a befitting way and required infrastructure would be created on modern lines to make these places more attractive for tourists. He said that very soon steps would be initiated in collaboration with the various line and development agencies to further the process of development in these areas. The Minister was addressing various deputations which had come from Pakharpora and adjoining villages to meet him here today. The deputations comprising of large number of people apprised the Minister about various problems being faced by them and sought their early redressal. The Minister admitting that there are numerous problems, confronting the government including the burgeoning un-employment problem and said that a strategy is being worked out to address all these problems. Mr. Rather said that certain unavoidable circumstances including the enforcement of Model Code of Conduct came in the way of presenting a full-fledged budget session in the Legislature on time, as such optimum funds were not available to meet the development needs. The Minister assured that after the budget is passed in the ensuing session of the legislature, sufficient funds would be made available for undertaking massive development in the state.
