''The amount of water required for the floating population of over 1 crore in Katra town is 20 lakh gallons per day but presently only 3.5 lakh gallons are being supplied,'' Baldev Raj Sharma, BJP MLA from Reasi told reporters at a press conference here this morning.
The MLA said he had submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah elaborating on a number of issues and sought his personal interference for their solution at the earliest.
