Awareness Lecture on Epilepsy organized at Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College and Hospital

MANDI GOBINDGARH, Feb 18: An awareness lecture on epilepsy was organized, in association with Fortis Hospital at Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College and Hospital. Under the guidance of Dr. Kulbhushan, Director and Dr. Hem Raj, Principal the programme aimed to spread awareness about epilepsy, its causes, prevention, and management among students and faculty members.
The keynote speaker, Dr. Saurav Aggarwal, DM Neurology, shared valuable insights about epilepsy, highlighting its causes, symptoms, prevention, and the importance of timely treatment. He addressed BAMS students and faculty members, emphasizing the need to spread awareness and eliminate myths surrounding the disease.
Among the faculty members present were Dr. Vinayak Anande, Professor, Department of Kayachikitsa, Dr. Shardindu Sharma, Professor, Department of Rog Nidan, Dr. Nishant Paika, Assistant Professor, Department of Kriya Sharir, Dr. Poonam, Assistant Professor, Department of Shalya Tantra and Mr. Raj Kumar Bharti, Yoga Instructor, Department of Swasthvritta.
The lecture concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, where students actively participated and clarified their doubts regarding epilepsy management and patient care.
