| AIJPS demands adequate ration supply | | | EARLY TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: All India Janata Party Secular (AIJPS) Kishtwar District President Ajeet Bhagat ridiculed chief minister Omar Abdullah for making false promises to the people of the area. He informed that earlier it was promised by the Omar that Rice 8 KG, Atta 5KG and sugar 700 grams will be supplied at per head basis but the supply of ration is being made on the census of 2001.
Due to growth in population the supplies are falling short, he said and urged upon the Central Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department, Divisional Commissioner, Chief Secretary and dispatching authorities to ensure the ration supply in accordance with the present population.
