| Condition of KP migrants livening in tents is miserable: Bazaz | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, May 27: The J&K Democratic Forum (JKDF) socio-political organization, has urged upon the centre to take notice of the problem faced by Kashmiri Pandit migrants particularly those living in camps in Kathua, Jammu and Udhampur. As per press release the condition of the migrants in tents is pitible and camps are no better than slums and it is unfortunate that the migrants have to survive in such conditions, said Bhushan Bazaz president JKDF in a statement while interacting with media persons here today after a visit to some of these camps. Accusing the centre government of turning a blind eye to this migrants plight, he said the in human conditions in the camps in which the displaced people of Kashmir are living amply demonstrates the human rights abuse they are undergoing. Bazaz also alleged that the Congress led government at the centre was ignoring the ground realities of the state, and sought early settlement of Kashmir dispute for larger interest of the sub continent and has underlined the need for carrying forward the peace process between India and Pakistan and called for joint efforts to resolve the Kashmir issue in a time bound manner.
