Samba police traced out missing person, reunited with family

SAMBA, Feb 18: Samba Police has successfully traced out a missing person and reunited him with family whose missing report was lodged at Police Station Bari Brahmana.
On 25.12.2025, a written complaint was lodged at Police Station Bari Brahmana by mother of missing person namely Swarno Devi a resident of village Channi Kartholi tehsil Bari Brahmana district Samba, stating therein that her son had gone missing from home. All efforts were made out by the family members but the whereabouts of the missing person could not be ascertained.
Acting on the complaint, a missing report vide DD No. 17 dated 25.12.2025 was registered at Police Station Bari Brahmana and search started to trace out the said missing person.
After sustained efforts, a Police team of PS Bari Brahmana has succeeded in tracing out the said missing person and handed over to his family member after completing all the legal formalities.
The family members expressed their gratitude to Samba Police for reuniting the missing person with his family. Accordingly, the missing report has been closed.
