| Dissolve JMC hold fresh elections demands, Dimple | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, May 27: President, Jammu west assembly movement have urged upon the state chief minister to dissolve the present tenure of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) as the present corporation has miserably failed to deliver the goods and also have failed to come up to the expectation of the people.
Addressing the meeting of prominent citizens and residents of various mohallas which include New Plot, Sarwal, Rehari, Janipur, Talab Tillo, Subash Nagar and Bakshi Nagar said that no attention is being paid by the concerned agencies to improve the sanitations conditions of the wards and mohallas. He said no proper drainage system has been made for the outlet of dirty water in various wards of the Jammu city.
He alleged that Jammu Municipal Corporation has no policy for the beautification and development of Jammu city, As the leaders employees and all the officials of municipal corporation have become “corrupts” and no attention is being paid to wards the problems of the people.
Dimple warned the govt and gave 15 days time to streamline the Jammu municipal corporation and dissolve the present corporation immediately keeping in view the worst sanitation condition of the city of temples.
