| Yasho Rajya Lakshmi’s demise condoled | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, May 27: Staff and students of Chenab college of education along with Baldev Institute of management technology hold condolence meet in memory of late Yasho Rajya Lakshmi wife of Dr. Karan Singh ex. Governor of the J&K state here today.
R.S. Chib who chaired the condolence meeting said, late Mrs Singh had played a vital role in the social field of civil society during the period when Dr. Karan Singh was the Sadar-i-Riyasat and governor of J&K. Chib said that late Yasho Rajya Lakshmi was greatly involved in the social activities pertaining to down trodden while being at Delhi. He said that in his death the people of J&K in general and Jammu in particular have lost a person who has spent her major portion of life in solving the problems of the poor, added that she contributed a lot in the success of Dr. Karan Singh throughout her life.
