SUNDERBANI, Feb 19: The Red Ribbon Club of GDC Sunderbani successfully organized a Road Safety Awareness Program at the college campus to promote responsible driving habits and create awareness about traffic rules among students and staff. The program aimed to highlight the importance of road safety measures such as wearing helmets and seat belts, avoiding over-speeding, following traffic signals, and refraining from using mobile phones while driving. The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members. The event commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Manjeet Singh the Convener of the Red Ribbon Club who emphasized the growing need for road safety awareness, especially among youth. Students actively expressed their views on various aspects of road safety, discussing common causes of road accidents and suggesting practical solutions to prevent them. Several participants spoke about the importance of responsible behavior on roads and the role of young citizens in spreading awareness within the community.
