Street play staged by Sangam Theatre Group

RAMBAN, Feb 19: District administration Ramban organized SWEEP Programme at D.C. Office complex here today. On the occasion a play on Election awareness "Vote Mera Adhikar" presents by the artists of the Sangam Theatre Group Reasi.
Chief Electoral Officer of J&K Sanjeev Verma IAS, Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Alyas Khan, JKAS present on the occasion, while other officers & officials of the District, students, locals, senior citizens and general public watched the Street Play.
Artists who performed in the play were Raja Aamir Khan, Aasim Nadeem, Anamika Devi, Nidhi Singh Thakur, Anu Devi and Asif javed waza , the play was written and directed by M. Akram Khan.
Artist in the street play stressed on new voters in the age of 18 years for more and more participation in voting process by registering themselves to cast their vote properly in fair and ethical .
Guests and audience appreciated the efforts made by the artists of Sangam Theatre Group Reasi as well as by the District Administration for presenting such type of Play staged at Ramban for awareness of young voters
