Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 19: Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar, Director Health Services Jammu, today visited Rajiv Gandhi Hospital to review the overall functioning of the institution and evaluate the quality of healthcare services being delivered to the public. During the visit, the Director took a detailed round of the OPD, IPD wards, Emergency Unit, Labour Room, Operation Theatre, Diagnostic Laboratory, Pharmacy, and other critical sections of the hospital. He inspected the availability of essential medicines, medical equipment, sanitation facilities, power and water supply, and patient record maintenance. The Director also convened a meeting with the Medical Superintendent, doctors, paramedical staff, and other officials. He reviewed staff attendance, duty rosters, referral patterns, biomedical waste management practices, and implementation of various national health programmes. He emphasized maintaining discipline, punctuality, proper documentation, and a patient-friendly approach in service delivery. Dr. Zargar appreciated the dedication and efforts of the hospital staff in providing healthcare services and urged them to continue working with commitment and compassion.
