Students of GDC Kunjwani outshine in 48th Inter-Collegiate Annual Atheletic Meet 2025-26

JAMMU, Feb 20: Government Degree College Kunjwani proudly celebrated the outstanding achievements of its athletes, Gulnaz Kour and Ravinder Lakhotra, who together secured One Gold and Two Silver Medals in 48th inter-collegiate annual athletic meet 2025-26, held at the University of Jammu from 17th to 19th February 2026.
Gulnaz Kour delivered an exceptional performance by winning One Gold in 200 meters and One Silver in 100 meters. Ravinder Lakhotra added to the college's glory by clinching one Silver Medal in 400 meters race.Their commendable performances reflect their dedication, perseverance, and competitive spirit, earning immense pride and recognition for the college.
On their return, the athletes were warmly felicitated by Dr. Manisha Sarup Kohli, Principal, Government Degree College Kunjwani. She congratulated the students on their outstanding success and conveyed her best wishes for their future endeavors. She emphasized that such achievements inspire fellow students to actively participate in sports and uphold the tradition of excellence.
Dr. Kohli also applauded the sincere efforts of Mr. Malik Aijaz Iqbal, Physical Director, along with the entire Sports Committee, for their unwavering support and commitment towards nurturing athletic talent and promoting a vibrant sports culture within the institution.
