| NGO’s widely mourn Yashorajya Lakshmi’s demise | | | Sarita Jamwal Udhampur, May 27- Several Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in Udhmapur district have expressed their profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Maharani Yashorajya Lakshmi wife of Dr Karan Singh, who passed away at New Delhi on Sunday night. Recalling her service to the society, these NGOs have expressed sympathy with Dr Singh and other members of bereaved family. Indian Democratic Human Rights Organization held a meeting here under the president ship of Ranjit Singh and has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of Yashorajya Lakshmi wife of former Union Minister and senior Congress leader Dr Karan Singh. He said that Yashorajya will be remembered by the people of Jammu and Kashmir for her active role as a social activist and praised her for her active involvement for mission launched by her for the welfare of the mentally challenged children. Sarita Parihar, Poonam Bakshi, Seema and other were present in the meeting Local NGO Lok Vikas Dal president Vikram Slathia has also expressed condolence on demise of Yashorajya Lakshmi. He along with other members expressed heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family and recalled the services of late Maharani. SRCO NGO also held meeting under president ship of Parvesh Kumar and condoled the sad demise of Maharani Sahiba, wife of former Sadar-e-Riyasat. It was recalled her contribution as Chairman, Central Social Welfare Board.
