| Minor reshuffle: Govt transfers 9 KAS, 2 KPS officers | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, May 27: With Election Code of Conduct coming to an end, the Jammu and Kashmir government has started the reshuffle process. The government has issued transfer orders of nine Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS) officers beside some minor reshuffle in vigilance and revenue department.
As per the government order N o.673-GAD of 2009 Ram Ditta Charak, KAS, Collector, Land Acquisition Sawalkote Hydroelectric Project has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Labour (Central) in his own pay and grade against an available vacancy.
Radesh Kumar Sethi, KAS, Collector, Baghlihar Hydroelectric Project has been transferred and posted as Joint Registrar (Banking and Finance) in the office of Registrar, Cooperatives in his own pay and grade against available vacancy, sources told News Agency of Kashmir adding that T K Bhat, KAS, Sub Divisional Magistrate Mendhar has been transferred and posted as Collector Baghlihar Hydroelectric Project.
Babu Ram, Development Officer, Jammu and Kashmir Women's Development Corporation, Jammu has been recalled and posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Mendhar in his own pay and gradevice TK Bhat.
Ashok Kumar (ALC), Tehsildar, Revenue Training Institute, Jammu has been transferred and posted as Collector, Sawalkote Hydroelectric Project in his own pay and grade vice Ram Ditta Charak, while Altaf Ahmad Khan ( ST), Tehsildar Bijbehara, Anantnag has been transferred and posted as Collector, Railways and PHE Department Srinagar in his
own pay and grade against available vacancy. He shall also hold the charge of the post of
Collector, Land Acquisition, Economic Reconstruction Agency Kashmir in addition to his own duties.
Vide a separate order issued by GAD, Tanveer Iqbal, KAS, Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) Kishtwar has been transferred and posted as Collector, Land Acquisition, Economic Reconstruction Agency Jammu vice Rajesh Kumar Shavan, who has been posted as Assistant Commissioner( Revenue),
The government also ordered posting of two KPS officers in vigilance organisation. As per an order PL Bhat, S P JKAP 12'nBn has been transferred and posted as AIG (Policy) in the Vigilance Organization against an available vacancy.
Abdul Karim Zargar, Deputy Director Prosecution police Headquarters has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director Prosecution in the vigilance organization against an available vacancy.
It has been further ordered that Javed Ahmad Koul, Sr. Superintendent of Police under orders of transfer from the Vigilance organization shall continue to be posted in the Vigilance organization.
The government also issued transfers orders of lower rung officers in the state revenue department. Sources told News Agency of Kashmir that Tassduq Hussain Mir (RBA), Tehsildar, Khansahib Budgam has been transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Gurez on the superannuation of Abdul Salam Lone on 31.5.2009
