| Vice-Chancellor SKUAST-J flags off Educational Tour | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 23: Prof. B. N. Tripathi, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu, today flagged off an educational tour for the final-year B.Tech. Agricultural Engineering students of the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering. Interacting with the students on the occasion, Prof. Tripathi encouraged them to make the most of this academic opportunity by closely observing state-of-the-art laboratories and departmental facilities at the host institutes. He emphasized that exposure to advanced equipment and emerging research trends in Agricultural Engineering is essential for strengthening practical understanding and professional competence. He further highlighted that such educational tours play a vital role in bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world applications. As part of the approved academic itinerary, the students will visit several premier national institutions, including Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology and Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana; National Dairy Research Institute and Central Soil Salinity Research Institute, Karnal; and the Central Soil and Water Conservation Research and Training Institute (Research Centre), Chandigarh. |
