JAMMU, Feb 23: The All Jammu and Kashmir Sports Association of the Deaf hereby announces that district-level registrations are open for selection trials for the upcoming national championships. This was stated by the president of the Association Mrs Rehana.
In a press note she said that the 10th National Deaf Sub-Junior & Junior and 27th National Deaf Senior Sports Championships (Athletics) will be held at Gujarat University Ground, Ahmedabad, Gujarat from March 21 to 23, 2026.
Further, the 10th National Deaf Sub-Junior & Junior and 27th National Deaf Senior Sports Championships (Badminton) will be held at the Sports Complex (Badminton Hall), Sector (W), Chandigarh, Punjab, from March 21 to 23, 2026.
In Sports Disciplines viz Athletics and Badminton the Deaf athletes from all districts of Jammu & Kashmir are eligible to participate.
The Selection Trials will be held at M.A. Stadium, Jammu on March 3, 2026 and Required Documents include Disability Certificate,ID Proof, Age Proof and Sports Certificates.
Only registered district athletes will be allowed to participate in the selection trials,the press note further added. |
