NABHA, Feb 23: A motorcycle rally commemorating the 116th Raising Day of the Corps of Signals is currently underway to honour veterans and war heroes and to inspire the youth to remember the valour and sacrifice of the armed forces.
A team comprising ten Army personnel led by Col Rajeev Kumar, is covering an approximate distance of 2000 km. The rally commenced from Delhi on February 15, 2026, and is passing through Hisar, Mandi Dabwali, Abohar, Amritsar, Nabha, Chandigarh and Dehradun, culminating at Meerut.
The rally reached The Punjab Public School, Nabha, on February 21, 2026. Lt Col Archana Singh interacted with the students and apprised them of the vital role and functioning of the Corps of Signals. She highlighted the strength and professionalism of the Indian Army and encouraged the young minds to join the Army to serve the nation.
Headmaster Dr DC Sharma presented mementos to the team members and expressed his gratitude for inspiring and motivating the students. |
