Batwara road tragedy: PDP demands better resources of traffic management

Peoples Democratic Party expresses grief at the death of two citizens in a road accident involving an army vehicle at Batwara today.
Conveying sympathies to the bereaved family a spokesman of the party said it is unfortunate that army vehicles of late have been involved in road accidents that have cost precious human lives, a girl was recently crashed to death in Lasjan area.
Demanding stern action against the errant drivers the spokesman said the army top brass needs to take serious note of the accidents involving its vehicles. The spokesman also said the bereaved families should be adequately compensated. ‘Instead of cosmetic measures projected through government media the administration must try to bring actual relief to the people especially those traveling by public transport, he said.
