| Employees of public libraries hold meet discuss problem | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, May 28: The Jammu-Kashmir govt. employees and workers federation in a meeting here today under the chairmanship of Prempal Singh discussed various issue relating to the employees. The main issue, which came under discussion about the anti employees attitude of deputy directory public libraries Jammu towards the library employees for adopting delaying tactics in respect of following non payment of salaries to the library employees well in time. Non settlement of time bound promotion cases and its payment to the library employees which are lying pending without any reason. Non fulfillment of post which has been lying vacant since long despite repeated request made by the association. He said material procured by the deputy director public libraries Jammu has not been issued to the district/tehsil/block libraries. Personal bank loan cases of employees are lying pending in his office, without any reason. Leaders strongly condemned the anti employees attitude of the officer appealed to the higher authority to intervene in the matter immediately otherwise federation will left no alternative other than to launch agitation against the said officer. Beside the leader also appeal to the state govt. to fulfill their commitment made with the JCC leader regarding release of 20% HRA and payment of arrears of revised pay and enhancement of age. Other present in the meeting Ranjeet Singh, Ram Dev Singh, Kulesh Kumar, Kuldeep Singh, Suresh Kumar, Pardeep Kumar, Ram Dass, Jai Kumar, Ram Murti, President Vijay Pur Block, Tilak Raj, Ganesh Dass, President Kathua JKAEA.
