JAMMU, Mar 2: Under the dynamic leadership of Prof BN Tripathi, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST Jammu to commemorate International Women Day week, NSS SKUAST-Jammu Organised a programme for NSS students on Women Mental Health,' Mann Shadhna'.
In the inaugural address Dr. Sudhakar Dwivedi Director Students Welfare threw light on the importance of organisation of the event particularly for University girl students to inculcate the healthy Mental health practice.
Pavneet Sudan a psycologist and Mental health expert was the guest speaker, she called upon the students to live a Healthy life by practising meditation to keep away the stress of studies and challenges of life she stressed upon to always keep a positive mind toward your surroundings. Dr. Veena Sharma NSS programme officer of faculty of agriculture supported by Dr. Rakesh Kumar. Dr. M.K. Pandey was the guest of honour.
Programme was organised with active support of Dr. SUBHASH C. KASHYAP NSS PROGRAMME COORDINATOR . Students participated in differnt activities given by expert speaker.Dr. Narinder Panotra and Dr.Rakesh Kumar NSS OFFICER OF FACULTY OF AGRICULTURE and Institute of Biotechnology.
Programme ended with vote by Dr. Rakesh Kumar NSS officer FoA and serving of refreshment among students.
