| Economic Renaissance | | | While addressing an event in Jammu Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha offered three principles to strengthen the “Made in India and Atma-Nirbhar Bharat” initiative - Quality, Innovation, and Reliability. He stressed that these three mantras must become the new identity of the domestic manufacturing sector. During the past few years Atma-Nirbhar Bharat has become a national awakening. It is an economic revolution propelled by Industry’s might. ‘Made in India’ now symbolizes trust in global trade. Swadeshi Apnao (Embrace Swadeshi) is slowly becoming a way of life. The landmark initiatives such as “Make in India,” Production-Linked Incentive schemes, Start-Up India, and Digital India have created a supportive ecosystem for entrepreneurship and manufacturing. The result is visible in India’s expanding industrial base, growing exports, and its emergence as a key player in global supply chains. After 2014, when Narendra Modi took over the reins of the country, India has been scripting a new chapter forging a new path to self-reliance. Under PM Modi’s leadership, Bharat has not followed a predetermined path but has built its own. Today India is witnessing a genuine economic renaissance. MSMEs have become the backbone of the country’s economy. They are embodying hope for millions of families and businesses. We need to understand that scale alone is insufficient. Quality must become non-negotiable. In a fiercely competitive global market, substandard products can erode trust overnight. Indian manufacturers must not merely meet international benchmarks but aim to surpass them. From textiles and handicrafts to electronics and pharmaceuticals, excellence in quality control will determine long-term success. The global economy rewards those who create, not just those who assemble. Research and development, technological adaptation, and collaboration between academia and industry must be intensified. India’s youthful demographic dividend offers a fertile ground for innovation-driven growth. By encouraging startups, fostering skill development, and investing in research, India can transition from being a cost-effective producer to becoming a global innovation powerhouse. Timely delivery, transparent processes, and adherence to commitments build enduring partnerships. In global trade, reputation is everything. The “Made in India” mark must evoke confidence not only in product quality but also in ethical business practices and dependable supply chains. India is witnessing a genuine economic renaissance. If Quality, Innovation, and Reliability become intrinsic to its manufacturing DNA, the vision of a self-reliant and globally respected India will not remain an aspiration—it will define the nation’s destiny. |
