EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 28: Apprehensive about some cricketers may take part in unrecognized tournaments, the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) has cautioned its registered players.
In a handout issued here today, the Association conveyed the cricketers that action will be initiated if they were found taking part in any tournament not approved by the JKCA and BCCI.

“As already been conveyed to all concerned, no player, official registered with BCCI is permitted to participate in any unauthorized tournament,” said general secretary of the Association, Salim Khan.

He further said,” Any player or official doing so shall be liable to disciplinary action under rules of BCCI and shall be deprived of all benefits available from the Board”.
