MLA Ch Vikram Randhawa starts drain, tile work in Trikuta Nagar

JAMMU, Mar 9: MLA Bahu Ch. Vikram Randhawa today started the construction of drain and tile work near Shiv Mandir, Sector-3, Trikuta Nagar, Ward No. 53, fulfilling a long-pending demand of the local residents.
The work is being carried out under the supervision of the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) to improve the drainage system and develop proper tiled pathways for the convenience of the public.
On the occasion, Mandal President Nitish Mahajan along with his team members and a large number of local residents were present. Officials from JMC and the contractor concerned were also present during the commencement of the work.
During the visit, MLA Randhawa instructed the contractor to ensure the highest standards of quality and complete the work within the stipulated time, so that the public can benefit at the earliest.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Randhawa said that providing better civic amenities and strengthening basic infrastructure in every ward of the constituency is his top priority. He said that works like proper drainage, roads and tiles are essential for improving the living conditions of the residents and preventing problems like waterlogging and sanitation issues.
He further assured the people that no area of the constituency will be left behind in terms of development, and all genuine public demands will be addressed on priority. He also directed the concerned officials to remain in constant touch with the public and ensure that development works are executed smoothly.
The local residents expressed their gratitude to MLA Ch. Vikram Randhawa for starting the much-needed drain and tile work and thanked him for continuously working towards the development and welfare of the area
