Reasi police traces missing minor in Goa, reunites him with family

REASI, Mar 10: In a significant breakthrough demonstrating its unwavering commitment towards public safety and prompt response, the District Police Reasi has successfully traced and recovered a minor boy who had been missing from the premises of SMVD Narayana Hospital for nearly a month.
A complaint regarding the missing minor was received at Police Post Kakryal, following which a case FIR was promptly registered at Police Station Katra and investigation was initiated.
Acting swiftly, a dedicated search team was constituted to trace the missing boy. The team conducted extensive efforts using both local intelligence and technical assistance. After sustained and coordinated efforts, the minor boy was successfully traced and recovered from Goa with the help and cooperation of the inter-state police authorities. Following all necessary legal formalities, the recovered minor was safely brought back and reunited with his family in Katra, bringing immense relief and joy to the family members. The entire operation was carried out by IC PP Kakryal PSI Akhilesh Khajuria and SHO P/S Katra Insp. Ranjeet Singh Rao, under the close supervision of SDPO Katra Dr. Bhishm Dubey, JKPS and SP Katra Vipan Chandran, JKPS. SSP Reasi Paramvir Singh-JKP reiterated commitment towards ensuring the safety and security of citizens and urges the public to promptly report any missing person cases so that timely action can be taken.
