JAMMU, MAY 29 (INFO)- To carry out the replacement of CT clamps, PG clamps in 220 KV Yard and strengthening of jumpers/ busbars in 132 KV yard and testing of 220 KV repaired SF-6 breakers at 220/132/66 KV Grid Station, Hiranagar, the power supply to Samba, Kathua, Hiranagar, Billawar, Basohli, Vijaypur, Industrial Estate of Bari Brahmana and adjoining areas shall remain affected on May 31, 2009 from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. The PHE, MES installations and other essential loads shall also remain affected during the shut down period.
According to Chief Engineer, M&RE Wing, Jammu, the shut down shall be subject to fair weather conditions.
