JAMMU, Mar 15: In a joint statement, Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) Central Zone, Jammu, Samba, and Kathua, today. Under the leadership of Babu Rampal, Former Minister and President of the Central Zone, along with party functionaries. Viz Adv. Rajinder Chanayal, Dr. Vikas Sharma, Bharat Bushan Bhagat, Rahul Mahajan, Ahok Atri, Israr Khan, S. Nirmal Singh, Amrish Sharma, Chander Udey Singh, Burama Nand, Rehmat Ali, Dupinder Kour Ex. MLC, Dilshada Malik, Rita Gupta, Shamlal Mehra, Thoru Ram Mandi, Baldev Singh Bahu, Sardar Surjit Singh Saasan, Tarsem Khular, Naved Raja, Arvind Singh, B.D Dalotra, Dr. Y.P Singh, B.D Sharma, Manoj gupta, Om dalmotra, Ashok Tiyagi, Yash Paul, Dharm Paul, Sat Paul Bhartwaj, Manhor Lal, Birbal, Narinder Dutt, A.N Bhagat, Rajiner Kumar, through a joint resolution strongly condemned the assassination attempt on National conference president & Former Chief Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah sahab, while attending the marriage ceremony event in greater Kailash area of Jammu city. The signatories showed their anger & displeasure about the security lapes at the venue , where no arrangements were made to have full proof security & no local police was present there for their security & only Farooq sahab's personal security personel acted swiftly & rescued him.
The members demanded an enquiry at the highest level regarding the said security lapses & responsibility shall be fixed for the concerned regarding the said grave negligence. The statement showed their satisfaction that Almighty God saved Farooq sahab & other dignitaries present at the said marriage function as no harm was caused to any body.
