Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 15: BJP District Jammu South Publicity Secretary Pardeep Sharma said that India is facing significant challenges in agricultural exports. Pardeep Sharma, while recently discussing the agricultural sector, said that India, which is one of the world's leading agricultural producing countries, is currently grappling with several serious challenges in the field of agricultural exports. Without overcoming these challenges, India will not be able to firmly establish its agricultural products in the global market. He said that inadequate cold chain, warehousing and logistics facilities are increasing post-harvest losses, which reduces export quality. Pardeep Sharma said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government is focusing on high-value crops, organic products and processed food items, but more investment is needed in areas like irrigation, research, fertilizer management and crop diversification to address these challenges. He appealed to farmers to focus on quality, branding and global standards so that India can become a superpower in agricultural exports. |
