Jammu, May 29 : Amit Tagrotras 70 runs knock help JU VC XI to win the final of T-20 All India VC Cup held at Mumbia University today .
JU VC XI Captian Akash Bola won the toss and elected to bat first. In a stipulated 20 over JU VC XI set a target of 156 run before Mumbia VC XI. JU scored 156 runs for the loss of six wickets.
From JU side Amit Tagotra scored 70 runs in just 48 balls. In his 70 runs he hit 3 six and five boundries.
Chasing a target of 156 runs, Mumbia VC XI scored 148 runs in 20 runs. The JU VC XI won the final by 8 runs.
Amit Tagrotra was declared man of the match. JU team will return home on June 3rd.
Meanwhile University of Jammu fraternity has congratulated the Varsity team for winning the final of All India VC Cup.
