Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 18: A Hindi Essay Writing Competition was successfully organized at Dogra Higher Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, Jammu, in collaboration with the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, as part of ongoing initiatives to promote the importance and enrichment of the Hindi language. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who expressed their ideas with creativity and conviction on the theme highlighting Hindi as a symbol of national pride and cultural identity. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Sh. Rajesh Kumar, State Director (J&K UT and Ladakh). The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries, including Abhay Singh, Executive Officer; Principal Major Bhawna Devi Retd,HM Ganesh Das Gupta. Addressing the gathering, Abhay Singh emphasized the significance of promoting Hindi and later announced the names of the winners. Aditya Nath (Class VII) secured the First Prize, Komal (Class IX) won the Second Prize, and Smiksha (Class VIII) secured the Third Prize. The winners were felicitated for their commendable performance and literary excellence. The Headmaster, Ganesh Das Gupta, congratulated all participants for their enthusiastic involvement and appreciated their efforts in promoting the national language through creative expression. The Principal, Major Bhawna Devi, lauded the initiative and encouraged students to actively participate in such co-curricular activities to enhance their linguistic skills, confidence, and overall personality development. Refreshments were served to all attendees.
