Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 18: In a vibrant celebration to female leadership and empowerment, Government Sri Pratap Memorial (SPMR) Rajput College of Commerce, a constituent college of Cluster University, Jammu, organized a special event today to commemorate International Women's Day. Principal of the College Prof. (Dr.) Sunil Gupta was the Chief Guest, while the highlight of the event was an interactive session featuring Sugandha Gupta (IAS), who served as the guest of honor and shared her journey with the student body. The event, organized by Internal Complaints Committee against Sexual Harassment (ICCASH) under the aegis of IQAC, in collaboration with SPARSH (Sensitization, Prevention, and Redressal of Sexual Harassment) Committee aimed to inspire students through the lived experiences of high-achieving women in public service. During her address, Ms. Sugandha Gupta (IAS) engaged in a candid dialogue with the students, emphasizing the importance of perseverance, academic excellence, and the role of youth in fostering a more equitable society. Her presence served as a powerful testament to the impact of women in administrative leadership roles. Speaking on the occasion, Principal of the College Prof. (Dr.) Sunil Gupta expressed deep gratitude to Gupta for her willingness to take time out of her demanding professional schedule to motivate the next generation of leaders at SPMR College. He urged students to carry the spirit of the interaction forward and strive to build a future where merit and character are the only benchmarks for success. The event was coordinated by Dr. Reena Rani, Convener ICCASH, and compared by Dr. Madhu Bala.
