JAMMU, Mar 23: St. Xavier Convent School proudly celebrated its Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony, marking 29 glorious years of excellence in education and holistic development, with great enthusiasm and grandeur.
The event was graced by Respected Chief Guest Anand Jain (ADGP, IPS JKUT) and Guest of Honour Zahid Manhas (DIG JKUT). The event was further dignified by the presence of Joginder Sangam (J&K Incharge, Shri Hindu Sangh), Er. Hans Raj Padha (Director), Pankaj Vihans (Principal), and Mridhu Padha (Vice Principal). Our esteemed special guests included Captain Hansja Sharma, Ritika Bhan, and Senior Journalist Rashmi Sharma, along with respected teachers, parents, and dear students.
The event commenced with a warm welcome and presentation of bouquets to the distinguished guests, followed by the Lamp Lighting Ceremony, symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the spread of knowledge.
The cultural programme began with a soulful Prayer Song, followed by a graceful Ganesh Vandana. The audience was captivated by performances like Rhythmic Yoga, Book Dance, and a mesmerizing Semi-Classical Kathak recital.
The Annual Report highlighted the school's remarkable achievements over the past year. Two distinguished alumni addressed the gathering, inspiring students with their journeys and reinforcing the belief that anything is possible with dedication and perseverance.
The programme continued with an engaging Skit (Gattu Dor), followed by impactful speeches by Captain Hansja Sharma and Ms. Ritika Bhan, motivating students to strive for excellence. The energetic Punjabi Bhangra performance added vibrancy to the celebration.
The highlight of the event was the Prize Distribution Ceremony, where meritorious students from all classes were honoured for their academic and co-curricular achievements. The dignitaries appreciated the efforts of the school in nurturing young minds and shaping future leaders.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all guests, participants, and organizers for making the event a grand success.
The celebration stood as a testament to St. Xavier Convent School's unwavering commitment to excellence and its journey of 29 years in empowering students through quality education and values.
