| SR holds awareness lecture on Blood Donation | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 30: With an objective to spread awareness among the students for blood donation and also to inculcate among them values of being a responsible citizen, S R Public School in association with Youth Blood Donation Association organised a lecture here today.
Head of the Department of Blood Bank, Government SMGS Hospital, Dr T R Raina delivered a lecture which was an eye-opener for students.
While making them aware of merits of donating blood, Dr Raina briefed the students about various diseases which one gets prone to on account of wrong eating habits and lack of exercise.
Students also made their doubts cleared by putting queries before the experts in the field.
Later, School Coordinator, Sonika Gupta thanked the members of the Association and special invitee for generating awareness among the students.
Among others present were Chini Singh, chairman Youth Blood Donation Association, Jasbir Singh and Punit Arora
