Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 27: All India Institute of Medical Sciences Jammu successfully organized a one-day Hindi workshop on Friday through its Hindi Department. The workshop aimed to promote the use of Hindi as the Official Language in the institute, create awareness about Official Language rules among officers and staff, and enhance their efficiency in handling official work in Hindi. Officers and employees from various departments of AIIMS Jammu participated in the programme with great enthusiasm. During the workshop, participants were provided with practical training on the effective use of Hindi in official work. On this occasion, Santosh Kumar, Assistant Director, Central Hindi Training Institute, Jammu, and Sanjay Sharma, Member Secretary, Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC), Jammu, attended as guest speakers. They emphasized the effective implementation of the Official Language Policy and highlighted that greater use of Hindi in government work improves both efficiency and communication. In their addresses, the guest speakers elaborated on the importance of noting and drafting, official correspondence, and Hindi typing on computers. They also provided practical training using real-life examples, making the sessions highly informative and engaging. Participants actively took part in the workshop and had their queries addressed. The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks. The workshop organized by AIIMS Jammu is being regarded as a significant step towards promoting and strengthening the use of Hindi as the Official Language. |
