| JSS excels in Dogri language event, students shine with top honours | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 28: Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu proudly celebrates the outstanding performance of its students in the Dogri Language event held at the Senior Citizens Support Services Club, Chowadhi, organised by Viraj Kala Kendra Jammu. The event served as a wonderful platform for students to showcase their talent and creativity in the Dogri language. Our students participated with great zeal and brought laurels to the school through their exceptional performances. Shruti Baboria of Class 11th B secured 1st Prize in Singing, while Sumor of Class 10th A achieved 1st Prize in Solo Acting. Ritika Lalotra of Class 7th F won 2nd Prize in Debate, and Varun of Class 7th C secured 2nd Prize in Singing. Avni Kaith of Class 7th F earned a Consolation Prize in Dance, Jigar of Class 8th E received a Consolation Prize in Debate, and Nitant of Class 8th D was awarded a Consolation Prize in Jokes. Their remarkable achievements reflect their dedication, confidence, and passion for preserving and promoting regional language and culture. The success of the students is attributed to the dedicated mentorship of Rachna Sharma and Meenakshi Sharma, faculty of the Dogri Department, along with Arun, PGT Sociology. The school also extends special gratitude to the Music Department for their constant support and contribution in nurturing the musical talents of the students. Rohini Aima Principal cum Vice-Chairperson, extended her heartfelt congratulations to all the achievers and appreciated their commendable efforts. She encouraged the students to continue striving for excellence and to take pride in promoting their rich cultural heritage. |
