Early Times Report DODA, Mar 28: In a prompt and effective action, Doda Police has successfully solved a motorcycle theft case, apprehended the accused, and recovered the stolen vehicle within a short span of six hours. On March 28, 2026, a complainant, Mohd. Asraf Parry, a resident of Doda, reported at Police Station Doda and submitted a written complaint stating that his Royal Enfield motorcycle bearing registration number JK06A-8915 had been stolen from Mochan Madrasa, Doda, on the evening of March 27, 2026. Acting swiftly on the complaint, a case FIR No. 69/2026 under Section 303(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) was registered at Police Station Doda. On the directions of SSP Doda, Shri Sandeep Mehta (JKPS), a dedicated police team was constituted under the leadership of SHO Police Station Doda. During the course of investigation, the team worked diligently, utilizing all available resources, and successfully recovered the stolen motorcycle within six hours. The accused involved in the commission of the crime has been identified as Tayeb Ullah S/o Mohd. Qasim, resident of Dhandal, Kastigarh, who has been apprehended. Further investigation in the case is ongoing.
