| Governor, CM greet people on Khirbhawani Mela | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Srinagar, May 30- Governor, N. N. Vohra and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah have greeted the people on the eve of Khirbhawani Mela. In his message of felicitations, the Governor said that the Festival symbolizes communal harmony and brotherhood which are the hallmark of the glorious pluralistic ethos of the State. The Governor, on the occasion, prayed for peace, amity, progress and prosperity in the State. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah while extending his greetings to the people on the eve of Mela Kheer Bhawani has in a message said the festival epitomizes mutual brotherhood and communal amity and added the day will bring in a new dawn of peace, prosperity and development in the State. He asked the Divisional Administration to provide all facilities to the pilgrims visiting Kheer Bhawani shrine at Tulla Mulla on the festival.
