| Rajouri Police cracks down on bovine smuggling; two accused arrested | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Mar 28: Rajouri Police has taken strict action against incidents of bovine smuggling during naka checking at different locations in Rajouri.
Case 1- PS Nowshera
During Naka Checking at Thalka under the jurisdiction of PS Nowshera a tipper vehicle bearing registration No. JK02BW-0824 was intercepted. During checking 07 bovine animals were found loaded in a cruel manner. The driver Mohd Mustafa S/o Mohd Shafi R/o Rajdhani Thanamandi District Rajouri was arrested on the spot. In this regard a Case FIR No. 59/2026 under relevant sections of law has been registered at PS Nowshera.
Case 2 - PS Rajouri
During naka checking at Chatyari under the jurisdiction of PP Chingus Tata Mobile bearing registration No. JK11A-2475 was intercepted. During checking 03 bovine animals were found loaded in a cruel manner. The driver Zafar Hussain S/o Mohd Sharief R/o Ninganar District Rajouri was arrested. A case under relevant sections of law has been registered at PS Rajouri.
Rajouri Police remains committed to taking strict action against those involved in bovine smuggling.
Further investigation in both cases is underway. |
