EARLY TIMES REPORT Srinagar, May 30- The CID Organization today accorded farewell to three inspectors, Jalal-u-Din, Abdul Rahim and Jalal-u-Din, on their superannuation from police service. All the three inspectors rendered their services in the CID till their retirement. Praising the parting officials, DGP, CID, Ashok Bhan said it will be difficult to find suitable replacement for the inspectors and added that their contribution towards CID has been par excellence. Among others, the farewell function was also attended by IGP, CID, Farooq Ahmad, DIG, CID Headquarters, A. G. Mir, SSP, CID, Nissar Ahmad, SSP, CID Headquarters, Israr Ahmad Khan, SSP, CID SB, Kashmir,. Ghulam Hassan Bhat, SP, CID Headquarters, M. M. Choudhary, ASP, CID SB, Kashmir, Abdul Rashid, JDP, CID Headquarters, Gurdev Kour and Syed Ahmad Syed, retired SSP. The superannuating inspectors were given souvenirs as a token of love from their fellow colleagues. On the occasion, two officers, A. K. Zargar, who were promoted as Deputy Director, Prosecution, Traffic Organization and Deedar Singh, Inspector, and transferred to CBI, were also given farewell for joining their new place of posting. |
